The JPJ Insurance Gateway (E-Cover Note)

In line with E-Government initiatives, Financial Link Sdn. Bhd. has built and operated the JPJ Insurance Gateway since 2001 enabling insurance companies to submit electronic motor insurance to JPJ for the registration and renewal of Motor Vehicle Licence (road tax). The project has been successfully launched in January 2005 with electronic motor insurance made compulsory for obtaining Motor Vehicle Licence (road tax). In addition, the JPJ Insurance Gateway is a system that will aid JPJ in preventing forged cover notes.

ISM NCD Gateway

ISM NCD System is an industry wide system  that enable insurers to confirm No Claims Discounts (NCD) online. Online NCD confirmation service would enable fast and accurate premium computation and speed up policy issuance by insurance companies. The system has been developed and implemented by Financial Link Sdn. Bhd. for Insurance Services Malaysia Berhad (ISM).

Premium Link Internet Portal Services 

Premium Link is a customer centric Insurance portal which enables policyholders to purchase, pay and renew their insurance policies via and Internet. Purchase and payment are transacted at Premium Link using secured online payment systems. The insurance policyholders will be given a reference number as a confirmation of a successful transaction. Premium Link also links motor electronic cover notes to the JPJ system. After making the payment, policyholders may proceed to JPJ or Post Offices to renew their road tax. JPJ or Pos Malaysia personnel just needs to key in the vehicle registration number to call up the electronic cover note. If the electronic cover note is in order, road tax will be issued.

Insurance Payment Gateway

Financial Link’s Payment Gateway will allow insurance companies to accept premium payment online. Financial Link’s payment gateway have been developed to support the following modes:
i) Direct Debit (Internet Banking)
ii) Credit Card
iii) Financial Process Exchange (FPX)

Financial Link’s Insurance Agency Management System

Financial Link Agency System (FLAS) is developed to provide an effective on-line solution for the management of insurance intermediaries business. The main features of the system are:
i) Provides the insurers with an effective control mechanism over agents especially in complying with underwriting and cash before cover (CBC) guidelines when issuing cover notes.
ii)Enables the Agents and Insurance Companies to submit electronic cover notes to Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia.
iii)Interfaces with insurance company’s back office system to ensure efficient issuance of policies..

Pos Malaysia Insurance System (PMIS)

Pos Malaysia’s Insurance System (PMIS) was developed to provide an effective on-line solution for Pos Malaysia to conduct insurance business for its principals. PMIS is made up of many components and functions for processing motor and non motor insurance transactions. The PMIS system is a secured web-based system that utilizes Pos Malaysia’s existing network connection to its branches.
